Have a base 96. Totally stock 4.09 rear diff.
Bought a R33 rear diff with 3.69 (R200 version)
I would like the speedo to read correctly. What I have found is that my VSS pinion gear is most likely 20t. If I move to a taller FD, in this case by 10%, I need to lower the pinion by said 10%? So down to a 18t VSS pinion.
If I'm incorrect in my thinking please correct, if I'm correct where can I find a 18t pinion? This is where I'm getting this info http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=240385
So can anyone provide the 18t part number or a place to get one?
