Hello All,

I've recently bought me an S14. This is my 3rd 240, but my first S14. The car was sitting in the guys back yard for about 10 years, and needs a little TLC.

I've been cleaning it up to get it to run again, but ran into an couple of issues.

Problem 1: When i turn on the ignition, nothing happens. I've viewed voltages with multi-meter at the ignition switch, and when it's in "off", i get 12v. When it's in ACC or ON, the voltage drops to 2v. I'm at a loss on where to start. I assume i have a short somewhere, but haven't been successful at seeing where a short may be, and i would assume if it's that much of a short it would pop a fuse, or start a fire. I had thought it was ignition switch, or relays at first, so i had removed them, and tested them as best as i could. Relay's seem fine, ignition drops voltage when i cycle the switch. By just fiddling with it, it was working for a period of time, and powering up almost everything, but stopped working when i was testing other electrical pieces (light/wipers). I'd appreciate any advice for a place to start :)

Problem 2: when the ignition was working, i wanted to test fuel, so i put a can in place to catch the fuel, and disconnected at the fuel rail. No fuel. I checked the fuel pump connection when i cycled the key, and did get 12v for 1-2 seconds, so i assume i need a new pump. Anything else i should check? I may just order a replacement high-flow, as the intent is to eventually swap.

Thanks.
