So I just put an sr20det into a s13, and I went to crank the motor and the cas wire was burning so I stopped and looked at it took my ecu off traced the wires and they were all correct I tried starting it again and it started up had it running for about twenty minutes. The next day I went to start it and the same thing happened the cas wiring started burning so I took the wiring loom off and a wire was melted so I looked up the diagram and it said it was the ground, so I ran a new wire straight to a ground and tried to start it and it wouldn't start, then I went and felt the ground wire and it was really hot and about to melt again, anyone know where to start maybe my cas is bad I'm ordering a new one just wanted some thoughts to what it could be..

unplug the sensor and check voltage to each one with the key on. Not sure what each one is supposed to be but none of those should be warm let alone hot/burning.
