After 4 days of being jerked around by my extended warranty company, they have finally approved the repairs on my car!! Here's a list of what's going to be worked on next week.

Timing chain/guides/tensioners
Front crankcase gasket
Water pump
New belts (they're probably gonna cost me $42 for all 3)
Rear main seal
Clutch--pilot bearing, throwout bearing, clutch disk, pressure plate--(I'm buying the kit for $150 from the dealer and the labor is being paid by the warranty company b/c of the rear main seal)

Total estimate of repairs: approx $2600
Total cost of mine: approx $225 (with the synthetic oil)

I'm so pumped!! But my baby's gonna be in surgery all next week (4 days) My clutch doesn't even need to be replaced right now (probably another good 5000 miles left on it), but since the labor is being paid for the rear main, I'm getting my clutch replaced for $400 cheaper!!

Of course, this also means I can't auto-cross my car next weekend because of having to break in the new clutch. Oh, well. At least my baby won't be sick anymore. I'll see if I can get some pics of her Operating Room visits.

now if I can just find a way to get a new paint job lol

that sounds really cool, i'd definitely use that warranty to its full advantage. u should even check to see if there's nething else that needs to be fixed/replaced while u still go that bad boy .

I'm having them replace my clutch with an OEM clutch. Unfortunately I don't have the money to order an aftermarket clutch right now. I also don't have the time. My OEM parts will be in Monday or Tuesday, and I don't have enough $$ left on my credit card to order aftermarket ( )

If I decide to modify past my OEM clutch abilities, I'll plan accordingly then. But, it's definitely going to be a while before I'm ready for that.

The only thing left to replace after all this work is done is my rattling exhaust (nice heat shields always trying to communicate with me lol), which isn't covered under the warranty, not even the catalytic converter. My front struts are covered, but they're still in pretty good shape so we weren't even going to propose those for the repair since they're paying for so much already.
