Hey guys, pleasure to join in on the forum with you all.

My first post is rather simple. I have been a euro guy for quite some time, but after stumbling upon a super clean 97 kuoki chassis, a dream car of mine since I was a little kid, I had to have it.. and so my addiction to the aftermarket grew.

I already have planned a s13 Blacktop swap and will be taking my time building the engine and tranny to my liking while the drivetrain is already out of the car.. The time i have to wait til i have the funds to complete it and all of the hours of work will be brutal, but i believe it smart to do all i want to it now, instead of dropping in the sr20 and drive it for a few months - only to pull it out again.

Anyway, while I await an engine i feel comfortable with ( will probably use USAJDMEngines out of New Jersey since they are close and i can pick it to inspect it (anyone have experience with them?) I want to do some chassis work - I will be doing an LSD (2 way) - Roll Cage - Seats (with sick $200 a piece brackets! (I thought bimmer parts were bad) - Stance Susp. - possible Body Kit (vertex like) - but my main upgrade i want to complete before anything is the z32 brake upgrade.

I found a few threads about the brake swap however, I also found a kit that really caught my eye but have not seen anyone use yet..

The dedicated Hydraulic handbrake caliper is great - I would like to hear what you guys think. I believe that this kit would replace the other swap where we had to use the z32 handbrake mechnism, correct? If anyone had experience with this kit, please let me know what you think and how it is installed?

Also, if anyone has ideas for how I should begin working on the car, feel free to share - I am sure i could be working on things I completely forgot about.

Thanks boys,

Kai

P.S.
No LS swap - I would, but my money tree burned down..

You need to spend more time browsing the web for info not "Add to cart"ing

Spend the next 6 months doing nothing but researching the hell out of what is possible to do to this car. Most of your questions are answered already.

Most dudes under 25 fail to properly build the car they see in their dreams.
The few that actually do make their competition cars end up selling them a short time later, usually at a significant loss.

You don't need a hydraulic brake kit. Start with doing the maintenance that you need to do.
