whats the best way to get a broken manifold stud out of a block =[
p.s. i didn't break it it was already broke when i got the motor

if its part of the block, have a professional do it, that happened to me and i have all new studs now but i had my uncle do it cuz i wouldnt touch that shit if u mess it up your screwed

actually if I fucked it up I could always tap it and get a bigger stud...
did you say exhuast manifold stud? if so that would be the cyl. head and not the block? anywho, that happened to me with the stud nearest to the firewall. tried to take off the nut but took off half the stud with it. got a pro to do it. Looks to difficult for average Joe me.

So a typical machine type shop should be able to fix something like this then?

I got it out, its really easy to do. just get yourself a set of EZouts.

same here. just take your time drilling and dont try to rush. any ez-out or bolt extractor kit will work.

craftsman makes mine so anywhere that sells tools id imagine, sears, home depot etc.
