what are my options for a different differential? whats the best suggestion? should i go with a vlsd of a J30 or try to get a 180sx vlsd with axles, or get a complete aftermarket lsd? im open to any suggestion at all. thanks

if you don't know anything about drifting which I think it's the case here, just get a vlsd. J30 is a vlsd too. It really all depends on which type of car you have (different car have different bolt pattern and you want the vlsd that can fit your car) In general they are priced around 200-300ish depending on condition. As for aftermarket lsd, they lock faster and stronger so generally they are not for newbies and they cost 800-1200. Hope that answers ur question.

Oh my. Get the silvia 180sx JDM lsd with axles!
All your choices are the same, except the first (stock gear ratio) and the last (only non-vlsd choice). Choose by price, or brainpower. Whichever you have more of.
