my car has a 255lph walbro in it and has been popping the fuel pump fuse whenever i go WOT lately, fuel pump is hardwired through a relay with the power wire going directly to the battery, i had had no issues with it like this for over a year and 8k miles til the other day it started doing it. No wiring gets hot and ive redone all the wiring, checked grounds and replaced the relay and nothing changed. have also pulled the pump and checked the wiring in the tank and all seems to be good.

could this be an issue with the pump itself or an ECU issue? is there anything i can test to find my issue elsewhere?

i can drive the car all day as long as i dont get too aggressive with the throttle, only happens once i really get into it

I think it could possibly be a weak connection on the pump lid. Or the pump.

For example, if the power or ground were hanging on by a thread, the current would jump through the roof and blow the fuse.
