here are some new pics of our project here at sportcarmotion as of sep 22nd

and just to note... the exhaust manifold is still being built. no that is not the a permanent brace holding the turbo to the head. that is just for reference while the manifold is being built.

good job! So nice hehe. I think someone did a s14 sr in a ae86 before. Forgot who it was.

i think one of the old d1 drivers had an sr in a corolla, but maybe it was a ca, definatley one or the other though. that was a cool car.

Edit: look at me, i forgot to tell you taht car is awesome too, :yum: :boink:

Evolution Motorsports in Sacramento has an SR20DET in a ae86. It is regularly autocrossed locally, might wanna ask them about it if you're interested

Last I heard too is that, its for sale too. Sickest AE ive seen ever!!! Notchtop SR20 with enough upgrades and power to push it to 11s and clean enough to be a show car with them sick ass wide body flairs :faint:

does anyone know what that evolution motorsports sr corolla is using for its rear end? we havent decided if were going to convert to s13 rear end, or do a celica supra rear end.... dunno yet

Hmm...I could ask my boy since hes pretty koos with the owner. But worst case scenario, give em a call and ask for Bau, he owns evo and that 86. As far as i know hes pretty koo so hed prolly tell you. Just tell him ur in the same situation as him.

that is a nice piece of work. i once saw a ae86 with a ka24e in sf area a long while back. custom motor mounts or sort of drop in?
