I bought some SSR sp1 second hand about a year ago and never got a chance to put tires on till yesterday. Come to find out the back rims are leaking thru the missing face bolts on the back. All four rims have the same exact bolts missing with the exception of 1 rear rim which has two and looks like that second broke off. So since this rims are welded together I am wondering if these rims just have to be resealed or do u guys think I'm going to have the welds broke and reassemble. Here are a couple pics.

Just dismount the tire and reseal the seam if you are positive that is where your leak is. It might be a good ideal to take the face out an see if you can get the broken bolt out too.

Do it right or do it twice.

I would replace the hardware, take the old seal off, and redo it.

You would think though if it's welded how is it leaking through those holes. Or are they just spot welding around the rim and then just seemed sealed after that

So I disassembled one rim and it wasn't welded. And easy outed the broken bolt with no problem. One is reassembled and sealed. We will see if it holes air tomorrow!!

Someone relipped them if they at not welded. If air is coming out of the hardware/face it is 100% the seal or not torqued properly.
