Struts look like they have been well used, I'm not interested in running race shock on my daily as it does not have lifetime warranty like the sport. So, if someone is looking for the strut housing combo only and doesn't need the gc and plates I would be interested.

They shocks aren't well-used. If they have more than 5k miles I'd be surprised, but I didn't keep perfect tabs of mileage.

You don't put sports in those housings when you can just put sports in oem housings. Whole point of these housings is the 86s.

Half of me wants to buy these back for no good reason lol.

There isn't a large difference between the technology in 8611's and sports, other than the 8611's have superior valving for these spring rates, are shorter, in a housing that gives you proper travel etc.

The only way a sport will die in a "short" timeframe (less than 4-5+ years) is banging the piston/foot valve on the bottom via bottoming it out. That's not warrantied, and you'll be told tough luck.

Much better to have lots of travel and not smash your struts to bits!
