As long as its going into a kouki its plug and play minus the extra wires for the folding jdm mirrors which usdm cars don't have. You will need to add these wires into the plug. Its very simple.

i have jdm mirrors..i just assume I would need the plug that goes into the switch to be able to wire it

I do for the zenki switch but not the kouki one. The Zenki has the pad where the kouki has the knob. If your car has a switch in it already all you need is the corresponding folding mirror switch.

Another words if your car is a USDM Kouki it has a Kouki power mirror switch (non-folding) so then all you need is a jdm Kouki power folding mirror switch. It will plug into your existing wiring and still operate the power adjust function. All you need to do for the power folding mirrors is run the extra wires for the folding option since they aren't in the USDM harness. Then you add these new wires into the correct pins to your current plug. Its a simple process. Just confusing to read through.

They should mount right in. Im guessing your meaning the map light which holds itself in with pressure and the hole is already in the frame. Like you said just need to cut headliner.
