2JZ to CD009 (Maverick Motorsports adapter)
This was supposed to be a fairly straightforward project and so far it isn't going my way. I bought the kit used off another person (transmission, adapter plate, flywheel, driveshaft, and most of the bolts). First thing I realized is he missed the two lower tapered-head allen bolts that hold the adapter to the block. So I ordered them from Maverick, but realized the two lower bolts are smaller diameter, so I got the wrong ones from Maverick. (Still waiting on the new ones). Then I realized the previous owner did not send the right clutch alignment tool (not sure what he sent, to be honest), so I ordered one which fit, and then I realized there was a ton of slop when trying to set the clutch, and found out that the diameter of the input shaft and clutch tool was about 16mm, but the bushing I ordered from Maverick (http://www.maverick-motorsports.com/products/toyota-to-nissan-pilot-bushing-sleeve-adapter) had an ID of about 21mm. So it was way too big.
I know how much fun I had removing the original 2JZ bearing, so getting this bushing out is going to be quite fun as well, I'm sure.
So I need two things at this point because Maverick is not returning any of my correspondence and I can't find a phone number for him.
1) what is the diameter & pitch of those two lower mounting bolts for the flange on the 2JZ? I need to find these tapered-head bolts elsewhere.
2) where can I find the right size bushing for the 2JZ to 350z input shaft?
Thanks!!
