newbie audio electronic question....

Lately my aftermarket stereo has been acting really funny....some times it will just cut off and reset itself or not come on at all. I took the headunit out and I noticed there was a ground and a fuse. If it helps...I have that motorized face Sony headunit (2yrs old).

Do you think the problem is related to the fuse?

Also....is there another spot I can relocate the ground?

I would only the call the problem the fuse if the fuse was blown... I have ONLY had Sony Xplod decks in my cars since like 1999 and have never blown that fuse.

I'm pretty sure it's a bad connection, either the power or the ground. Just wiggle the wire and see which one it is. Also a friend of mine had a similar problem and it turned out that one of the pins weren't seated probably in the connector so the power wasn't always making contact with the head unit.
