HISTORY
This was my first car that I bought in 2007 shortly after graduating high school. It only had 92K on the engine and was a two-owner vehicle in Fairfax, VA. I drove the car in Delaware for 4 years during college until I joined the military in 2011. I boosted it with a t25/370cc setup in December of 2010 and drove it for two months before I left for basic training. Once I got stationed at Tyndall AFB I decided to build it to be dependable/boosted daily in December of 2011. I finished everything in February of 2012 and have been driving it since as my daily.
Besides the list of things above that were changed, I upgraded from a T25/370cc setup to a T28/550cc setup. So, the MAF, Turbo, injectors, and tune were all upgraded.
Reason for selling is I recently got orders to move up North where it will not be practical to bring this vehicle. I hate to let it go but it is time. =(
THE GOOD
-Dependable/Powerful Daily/Project
-With the current setup, should be pushing a little over 300whp @ 16lbs of boost.
-Have been driving it @ 16lbs for nearly 3 years with no issues.
THE BAD
-Car has recently started to have a little bit of a rough idle but the ECU is reading a code 55, which means nothing is wrong. It is currently in work and I believe it could just be a dirty MAF/IAC.
-Turbo could use a new wastegate/external wastegate setup due to releasing at 16lbs currently.
-The car has a clean CarFax but was in an accident before I purchased it and it was discovered when the bondo cracked on the driver side quarter panel when I was tapped at a party. But, it has nothing to do with the drive-ability. I have put nearly 60K miles on this car since we found the damage with no problems
-Could use a little bit of bodywork on the driver side quarter panel and some new paint due to being nearly 22 years old.
ENDING REMARKS
Also, I have a shell that is also a 1995 240sx SE that I had huge plans to swap everything over to. The shell is nearly 100% true. Check out my other posts for the shell.
