Well, my 240 has been on the market for a while now, and considering all of the LOW BALL offers I have received, none of which was within what I would take for the car, I might just keep her. A WRX is not worth selling my car for cheap. lol.

Anyways, I have one last guy coming to look at the car this weekend, so if he doesn't buy it, I am keeping it.

Just thought I would share.

Man, a WRX isn't worth selling your car. Period.

I was going to get a WRX too, but they're too expensive. Turbo your car and beat down a WRX. You'll feel better.

I've heard wrx's are prone to tranny problems. My Girlfriends Brother has one, and had to have te tranny replaced because oil was actually leaking THROUGH the metal. Thats right. Through it. The metal that was used was not cast corectly or something. I've also heard guys breaking synchro's. Stock cars, non-modded. Plus at the stock boost of 14psi your making 227 crack power, and about 145 whp All-wheel drive sucks out all the real power. A 240 with 14 psi would walk on wrx anyday. Of course don't let anyone tell you that the 240 is better b/c it'll go sideways, b/c the WRX loves the sideways stuff. TOO much fun... I read an article that the STI has a Sport tuned E-Brake..lol

I would actually buy a WRX. The main thing that worries me is the clutch--you go through clutches a lot faster w/ AWD. The advantage of buying a WRX over turbo'ing your 240SX is the fact that the WRX was made for a turbo--stronger internals, whereas the 240SX KA engine wasn't. I think it's a personal preference "which is better, WRX vs KA-T"

I dont really think it matters if the motor was factory turbo'd or not. Someone wanna let the guys running 8sec turbo'd hondas to stop? The WRX has its fair share of problems. I have yet to see a WRX with over 350hp running on the stock tranny, typically they switch over to a straight cut dog box. Also, whats the 4wd gonna go for you once you're already moving except slow you down? Advantage is the added grip in wet/snow conditions. I dont know, the 240 and WRXs have their strong points.

I agree--both cars have their pro's and con's. I would love the AWD turbo, but I really like my N/A RWD peg-leg (no LSD) and the fact that it's so lightweight.

you do have to consider, the WRX can run 0-60 in 5's. and if you really know how to drive a AWD car (which is awfully hard to launch), you can get a 4.4 0-60 STOCK, (i read it in a mag, where they tested it) 4.4, SKYLINE DOUG!

It is physically impossible for the WRX in stock form (in US trim) to run a 0-60 under 5.5 seconds.
