So during the off season i removed my rear subframe to install a dual caliper setup and install solid subframe bushings. Well now im trying to install the subframe and everything starts off pretty smooth until we push the subframe farther up, to the point where the front passenger side stud digs into the aluminum bushing preventing it from sitting flush. I have read that to replace them that you need to cut frame rail from a donor car, etc etc. But since it is only bent, would it be possible to heat it up and bend it straight? Thanks for any advice

Is it bent where it narrows or is it just sitting crooked from where it starts at the sheetmetal?

I would suggest trying to get it back to straight/vertical without using heat if possible.

Right where the threads start is where it is bent. Its not that it is sitting crooked, just the threaded part is. You think it would be possible to bend it back without heat?
