Hey,

I've been searching and browsing the forums for a couple hours now but I still have a couple questions.

EDIT: Yes...it would be very helpful..hahaha...too caught up in the other stuff....it's a 1997 240sx SE

Situation: Banged up driver side fender (doesn't have to do with anything though) and front bumper. Would like to replace the front bumper with the JDM OEM. I will also want the turn signals and fogs and currently have USDM fogs on my bumper (lens cracked though but will do till I have money for that).

Problem: I've gotten the impression that the JDM bumper will "bolt on" to my front. Only thing I'd need to do is shave the bumper foam and get some clips/bolts from my previous bumper (correct me if I'm wrong please). Thing is I can't find information about the re-wiring process for the turn signals (if needed?) and the fog lights (if needed?) Is this process easy and will my USDM fogs fit the JDM bumper? (I believe not but i've seen the USDM style fogs @ pandagarage.com on the JDM bumper with a certain black bracket?)

Are there any other tips/info/tidbits I'd need to know before I do this? (I'm thinking about it and it's going to be a pain because I need to replace the fender as well as paint all this..and a shop quoted me 1150 for parts+labor+paint...let's just hope they subtract 300ish and hopefully they can paint my JDM bumper since I'll be supplying it to them)

Thanks a lot and if these questions have been answered...I'm sorry but I searched for awhile to find the answers and didn't find what I was lookign for.

Chris

Fogs plug right in, turns, dunno. I try to stay away from Koukis, they make me gag.

Funny, you don't stay away from my D even though it does the same thing to you.

Now was that really called for? :mrmeph:

I'll be sure to send that package of urine to you EMS so you can get it while it's still warm.

hmm...anyone know if the turn signal wiring harness or the fog light wiring harness needs to be modified so I can use the JDM turn signals/fog lights? Although according to R240NA the fogs should fit right in so I'm taking your word for it.

If anyone else has info it'd be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Found it....missed that one thread since it talked about where to buy JDM turn signals the first few posts....then switched off to installation...
