Hello,
So I am having a hard time getting my sr20 trans to shift. It takes a lot of effort to put the shifter in any gear. I recently installed a new clutch kit and a used KA trans because my old trans was popping out of 4th. I adjusted and bled my clutch, the slave pin is getting full travel when depressing the clutch, so what could be the problem ?
Last season one of my clutch springs popped off and it felt similar to this, that is the reason I bought a new clutch kit and replaced the trans while I was at it.

There are multiple reasons why its hard to shift into any gear, you just have to determine. Which its not then go from there or pull the trans and inspect.
If it moves while trying to shift into gear with out foot on the brakes.
Grinding or just plain slipping.
Full travel of the fork and pin only eliminates the hydraulic parts of the clutch system. Things could be broken stuck or worn.
Maybe just a bad transmission.

take the shifter out. and see if it changes gear ok with a long screwdriver or the other end of the shifter (with the engine turned off).
I had a pretty much the same issue yesterday and it was the shifter bush not seating correctly in the gear selector rod.
the clutch wont have any effect on gear selection with the engine switched off.
