Redtop has been sitting for at least five years. So this is the initial attempt to start since I have owned it. Original turbo had a bad oil seal. Engine is in a AE86 SR5 chassis. Battery relocate to trunk. 3 relay system used for wiring. Grounds have been checked. 2 cylinders have no or low compression.
I do have some questions about the orange wire off of the white plug, is this supposed to go to starter solenoid where, on a toyota, a black/white stripe wire goes?
Engine only cranks using original toyota b/w wire attached. Does not crank with orange wire attached.
Symptoms:
Engine cranks
Noid light flashes all cylinders
Spark all cylinders
Fuel pump primes (two have been used)
ECU light is on KOEO, goes off during crank
Can't hear injectors clicking
FPR has dent in it, so I clamped the return line - no start or misfires or backfires
Can all injectors be bad??? I do not have a fuel pressure gauge yet. Looking at buying tomei inline.
Any suggestions on next logical step.
