Hey had some times here to see if any of you could beat. I had these over on the RX7 forum for about a month and no ones beaten them yet <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Lets see if you guys fair any better. I used a stock F090/S with no changes to anything and raced under time trial.

Anyone beat a top speed of 275 on GT2 (without using the Escudo)?

I have hit 278 in the Viper fully decked and a lot of testing with the gearbox.

Yeah I did the same 278mph, but with a Supra. Anyone beat the time trial on complex strings in arcade mode. I did it in 4'50" with that RUF they make you do it in. It took my like 6-7 tries. Is that car equivilent to Porshe btw?

My best top speed using the Escudo was 857 mph while doing a wheelie. If any one else would like to know my secret I will let them in on how to do it.

The escuda is tha tlittle Suzuki with the giant wing right? Do tell how to make it that fast... and can I win it somewhere, or do I have to buy?

jd can probably give a better explanation...I hadn't had time to play enough to get the Escudo so I could try it out.
Basically, you fully soften the rear suspension, fully stiffen the front, full downforce on the rear wind, none on the front, make tthe gears really long, and go to the Seattle Road Course. Turn around at the end of the front straight and head backwards. Instead of taking the chicane, slide right along the right wall and you should go through the barracade and onto a really long road where I've heard you can hit 1,000,000 mph...don't know about that, but it'd be cool if you could. Is that right, jd?
Do you hear a big BOOM when you pass 760mph? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

If I had time, I would organize a challenge like we did on one of my other boards. You've got to spec out the cars and then run: example - bone stock s14 on Laguna; Skyline w/ racing tires only at Apricot Hill; or spending limit where you have to list the mods (i.e., 25,000: s13 K's 18.4K, racing exhaust 4.5K, etc.
That way it is a true test of talent - not just how has the fastest F1 car (I have 3, so look out for that one <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

hmm hopefully not referring to me about that one because the F090/S is one of the slowest and easiest to get F1 cars. Its more challenging with the F1 cars too, anyone beat those times yet? Yeah - I've got the 90 and the 86 and one other... IIRC, the 90 has the most power, but is heavier and harder to drive. The earlier cars b/f all the restrictions should be faster...

Whats IIRC mean? The F090/S has less power then my other F1's car and they all weigh the same. My most powerful car is the late 80's early 90's turbo 1.5L V6 putting out 710 or 810, too lazy to check right now. I like the more responsive nature of the F090/S though. Im rusty in GT3 right now, im too caught up in FFX lol. But if one of you guys beat my times, I think im gonna have to give it another shot. BTW, is anyone over 69% complete?
I got up to 50.3% I have had the system for 2 weeks... not too bad I don't think...

the fastest i've gone was 1400 with the escudo. ok so my friend did after an hour of tuning, and then let me try it. i only got up to 1200. with the RUF CTR, i can do 8.8 in the quarter, not bad for a car that's not one of the race cars. and with the silvia varietta, i can do 13.0! hey, it's a convertable non turbo.

Ya i have done that million thing, You have to use the same setting for the Escudo and go to i think seattle (the one that has a bunch of 90 degree turns and you can see the sun in). What you have to do is keep going till u reach the 180 turn and dont make the 180 turn, just turn you car around and go as fast as possible and stay to your right and keep you right side on the guard rail and keep going as fast as possble until you get to that part that has liek a 90 degree 'S' turn and you should pop through the corner if you are going fast enough. Then the game start to get glitchie as you keep going and your car pops a wheelie and keeps going till like 1,000,000 mph.
I kinda did a bad job explain ing it, myabe someone else can explain it better

Ok ok if here is how you make the ecsudo do over 800mph while doing a wheelie,
1: Set the front downforce on the car all the way down and the rear downforce all the way up.
2: Set the the front spring rate all the way down and the rear spring rate all the way up.
3: Set the final drive gear as 3.00 and set the car settings right beneath the gear setting to wide.
4: Now go to the test track and have fun.
I have not played gt3 in a while but I am pretty sure this was how to do it.

i wasn't dissing it, don't worry. i wouldn't have dumped all of the money into it if i didn't like it. i was praising it! 13 flat is good for a non turbo SR with the added weight of the hard top. it beats the integra type R in the quarter by several tenths of a second, and the silvia has 200 less hp. it hooks up verrry nicely

ugh, i hated doing that elise championship. 10 races long 20 laps each (i think) and tire wear. a good car to get is the new Z concept. that car is badass and is fun to drift with if you take off the stability thing, and go to the wet track in rally mode. it handles great and gets 601HP N/A. only comes in orange and you can't change the wheels but it is very fun to drive.

you have to adjust the settings right (suspension, lsd, its 4wd adjust it where all the power goes to the rear wheels, someone else said earlier how to set the settings right)
if you set it up right it will do a willie and thats when it takes off
and its not 1,000,000mph or 80,000mph its about 800-950mph
