Hey guys I let my car sit over the winter, I started the car up and I noticed the car steaming from the rear of the motor. I did have mostly water in my coolant system because of a pesky small leak underneath the intake manifold . So I figured that one of the hoses expanded and cracked , I checked both heater hoses and there not leaking from there . I was also thinking that one of the freeze out plugs might of popped out I'm not sure where there located. Any help or input we be much appreciated thanks guys

In thinking its the freeze out plugs , where are they located and how hard would it be to install?

They are all over in the head and block..it's not hard to replace but locate the leak first then see how to fix

Add some dye to your coolant and use a black light to locate.
Do what the above post suggested (drive around for a few miles to find it easier after installing the dye)
Or do a coolant pressure test and see if you can find it visually. You can buy or rent one from mostly any parts store.

Why not just google pictures of blocks and heads? Or builds or anything!
