High school calc is cake.

Post your question and I'll help you out.

It's university where the problems really start. Rotating a 2D sketch around an axis and finding it's volume using integration.... fun.

I think University calc is a lot easier than hs calc because you don't have to show up to class. So far they've been my easy gpa boosting classes :D . Taking advanced differential equ. this quarter ^^

i've already recieved help. thanks again for those who helped. i'm pretty sure other people may need some help with other things as well. it took a couple hours to start gathering information and i ended up a happy camper. anyways, i'm taking college pre-calc which is sort of a bummer.. they mingle with the stuff so i'm in a mediocre situation with half-assed algerbra and half-assed calculus

Unfortunately, for any psych. degree you have to. I hate math with a passion, but if i eventually want to make 150 bucks hour to sit and listen to people's problems, i'll deal with it!

I didn't really understand Calculus at first, but after completing Calculus I, II, & III, it's not that bad. Now applying it in Physics & Engineering, that's a different story.

Thats also why you'll never get a job. :D

Mathies won't get a job either... but I'm in engineering, so I'm good. Haha

wouldn't that be like banning tools in a construction class?
or banning mrmeph from zilvia... :smash:
using a calculator in a calculus class doesn't take away from any understanding of the math involved, it just means you don't need to worry about whether or not you did some of the more basic arithmetic, (and for us cool people with $800 calculators maybe a little bit more)

BTW I had revolving lines around 2-D planes to find the volume in highschool calculus, and if anybody needs some help I'd be more than willing to try to see if I can still remember anything, I did get a 5 on the AP test for calculus AB (first 2 semesters of a 3 semester class) but that was still a few years ago.
