My sr was running great for the first 2500 miles, when it started overheating in traffic. I discovered I was mysteriously missing 1.5 gallons of coolant. I filled it up, checked all of the hose clamps and drove for a week with no problems. Then it happened again. Today I finally found the culprit: the heater hose that is in back of the engine was rubbing against the firewall and it had a big hole in it. Needless to say this hose is a pain in the JDM to replace. There's a reason to swap these hoses with the engine out, which I did. I would also recommend putting a sleeve over the hose for all of you in the process of the swap. I need a few skin grafts to repair my hands, but at least I can drive my 180sx.

I should say its my converted 180sx. 89 s13 hatch with sr swap. 7psi is getting boring though.

Ah, so it's a 240SX with an SR. Not an 180SX.
