Need opinions for my 180 tails. (Centerpanel color)

The taillights I've wanted sooooo very bad have finally arrived. I have a white car. I'm going to paint the lower center panel white to match the car. Now for my dilemma. Should I paint the center panel (with reverse lights) black or white? I need a picture of an all white kouki set. I picture of the black panel can be found at do-luck-usa.com. Give me some opinions!!!

leave it black for a bit of contrast. you don't have to paint it either, just leave it

dont paint the center panel white, i prefer the black, especially on a white car.

yeah leave it black, my neighbor has a white car with white kouki tail's and he painted the the center white. Doesnt really look all that great. But here's an idea, put them on then see do you like it black?

:boink: actually, i think white is ok, because i also have a white 240sx, but i prefer black like everybody saying, as i always see people paint in white with their white car, may be u paint black color will be more special, right?

yeah black will give it a little more contrast. too much of a good thing is bad is what I ahve always heard hahahah

I wanna paint it cuz it didnt come black as an option from the factory... unless you slap a piece of carbon fiber over it.. hehe

I think it looks clean if you paint it, but leave the edges trim black like the oem.

do i need to clear coat the black or will it be fine?

For some reason the white on white pic doesnt work either... does anyone have more pictures of it painted white?
