For sale/trade is a 2002 Ducati Monster. Clean title in hand. 2 keys, one is the 'red' key.

Full ad here: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/mcy/5444869691.html

Looking to trade for a manual sports car, old jap pickup, old 4runner etc.

The chassis is a 750 (9500 miles on chassis), the motor is a 900 from a 900ss (6 speed) (8000 miles on engine)

I am mechanically inclined and have gone through this bike from front to back. It now starts first try every time, runs/sounds great, looks great and is fast. Interested in selling or trading for a sports car.

Mods:
-Tuned by Ferracci ecu
-Velocity stack intakes with K&N filters
-Full Supertrapp 'by Ducati' Exhaust system
-Stainless steel brake lines
-Clip-ons, have regular bars as well.

The following work has been performed on the bike:

Electrical:
-New Coils, wires, spark plugs
-New Battery
-Upgraded starter wires and grounding kit
-Replaced starter, also replaced sprag clutch
-Freshly calibrated TPS

Fuel Delivery:
-Gas tank hinge has been professionally bronze brazed to resolve problems many of these tanks had with leaks in this area from not enough braze.
-Gas tank has been resealed with por15
-All fuel lines replaced
-All in tank fuel lines have been replaced with submersible fuel line
-New fuel pump, fuel filter
-Rebuilt injectors
-Various gas tank o-rings that needed replacing, were replaced

Engine:
-Fresh valve adjustment
-Fresh timing belts
-Replaced input shaft seal
-Synch'd throttle bodies
-Course Dynamics ss Case saver installed
-New clutches
-Fresh oil change/filter screen cleaning.

Chassis:
-New rear tire (pirelli to match front), front tire in good shape
-New throttle sleeve, throttle cable, fast idle cable

Bad:
-Paint job is not the best, but still looks nice. Some areas, like the front of the tank the has rubbed off.
-Bike went down on right once before, slight scrape on exhaust, bent rear brake lever, rearset was welded to repair, not noticeable unless you look.

I have a single headlight for the bike as well, the bracket is on the way to install it, dual works well just not my style.

Will have more pics up as time allows.

Fire me off an offer and I will let you know.

Please no junk.

Thank you
