Per the directions for breaking in the Nismo LSD...

"Do not exceed 40mph for at least 180 miles."

I did figure 8's for an hour this weekend and I racked up a whopping 12 miles. I hope these guys aren't serious.

Well, it's funny cause for some GM cars they require 300 miles for their positraction breakin..

i did 30 minutes of 8's and that was it... a year and a half later, 20+ drifting events, and its still going on strong =p

just remember to change your oil often.

what are you running paul, street or gt pro? i found a cheap street and am wondering how it will work with i/h/e ka. because, you know, all those bolt-ons almost make my car powerful enough to run with sr's and such...

...man cmon, i thought you out of all people would've caught the lame sarcasm in that one :p no but seriously, lets just say its like a stock ka still with small no-real-difference bolt-ons, will the street lsd suffice?

does nismo supply fluid or is there another brand of fluid to be looking out for?

Better than paying another couple of hundred for a new one. I have a nismo 2way and I just did what they said broke it in and I had it in for 4 years before it finally gave two months ago ripped the ring gear apart and the pinion is now a heavy falic symbol hahahahah

nice, how long of this 4 years or so was it being pushed by your 600 some-odd motor that you posted in the dyno thread?

Oh actually right after I put everything together and did a few runs it snapped so right after that.

My brother had an Intake and Exhaust with a KAAZ 2way clutch type, no problems whatsoever.
