S14 Cluster with S13Sr in a S14

My Tach on my S14 has never worked, KA or SR, and nobody has ever been able to figure it out.. Methinks its the actual needle in the cluster. So i just got a S14 JDM Cluster off Ebay which has the 6500 redline. Should this unit be compatible with my S13 SR engine? I've read up, but all the posts mention only the S13 Clusters.. Be nice to know if this thing is plug and play..

Depends. Zenki and Kouki models use different plugs, so if's not the same year you'll have to get the plugs and rewire it. Otherwise it is a direct plug in and works fine, you'll just have extra warning lights and you'll to swap over the cruise indicator if you've kept it.
