Difference in S14 driveshaft length.

So I am just looking into an alum driveshaft and am a bit confused. Companies are listing a "non-abs/open diff" shaft as being 50in. and a "abs/vlsd" shaft as being 49.25in.

I know that abs pumpkins have a longer flange than the non-abs pumpkins but i didn't realize that open or VLSD mattered. can you not put either a vlxd or open diff into either pumpkin?

You can interchange them into either pumpkins.

Typically if a car came with ABS it also came with a VLSD diff.

So when ordering go by ABS vs non-ABS.
