Subframe drops with 4 bolts. Replace it.

can you tell if your subframe is bent just by looking at it? and how much does it cost????

Depends on how bad it is. Retail on a new one is about $660, used about $100 or less.

How do you screw up your subframe withough F&*king the main frame? that subframe is strong steel, and if you bent it, wouldnt you at least ovalize the bolt wholes on the main chassis?

mind me for asking.. but did you hit a curb?? lol jk... just try gettting a used subframe from someone or junk yard, and swap it, and get a wheel alightment.. if it doesnt drive straight after that, something is wrong.

I've seen welds break on the subframe before, especially the ones that secure the Aarm tabs. Generally you can reweld them but if they bend the area around it it's easier to just replace it.

oh welds breaking holding the arms make sence, I was thinking the big beefy bars that make the core of the subframe got bent. Imagine the force needed to do that. :eek2: thats what i was thinkin haha. 4hrs sleep last nite doesnt allow you to think everything threw haha.

damn that sucks.
you should be able to bolt up another subframe. Hit up some junk yards and dont pay too much. its not a desirable part.

When I first put my TD-0625g on and tuned the car I ripped my subframe in half at the diff. I did not realize it until the weekend but I just bought a new S-15 sub-frame and threw it on there. re-aligned and I was on my way. all your links are tied to the sub-frame so if you notice any shake.....uneven tire wear symptoms to a misaligned rear end then it could be bent but you just have to have it aligned first and test the waters for a month or so.
