it wasn't starting before cuz the distributor wasn't lined up right. so i flipped it 180º since that happens to everyone but that didn't help either. so i just tried random settings til i found a place where it worked. now i have to find the ideal place for it. i'll compression test it tomorrow and see how that is.

checked compression today, 225 225 230 195. i'm guessing running the motor made the rings seat better.
still gotta do the timing and weld the egr cap that broke (cuz i have no jb weld skills). massive exhaust leaks are FUN!!
