Mount kit: sikky

Ok, so I've pulled the engine 4 times because it wasn't fitting. Ended up having to take the bump stop off, and hammer almost all the way back to the shifter to clear the trans where it's circled... (haven't seen anyone talking about having to hammer this far back.)

Then I leveled it out, mounted the trans x member, everything seemed to fit. So I lowered it down and put on the passenger side header and shifter. Tried to raise it back into position, and the shifter was hitting. So I cut out around the shifter hole.

Now everything seems level, and the trans x member is bolted on, but the passenger side header is so close to the frame rail that I can stuff 2 business cards in between the frame and the #8 cylinder header runner and they'll hold. And there doesn't seem to be a way to pull my fuel hardlines away from it, they are resting on the header. The driver side has about an 1/8" clearance from the frame rail.

Does all of this sound/look normal? I heard you can use the stock fuel lines, but there's no way I'm going to let fuel run through a line that's resting on the header. Should I run all new fuel lines? I'm starting to think my chassis is twisted, unless all of this is normal and I'm just worrying too much.
