After searchign the forums, this is wat i have come up with:

It increases pressure in radiator so that the coolant can run at a higher temperature without boiling.

My question is this, will this cause more destruction to the cooling system even though i have new hoses, radiator, waterpump and thermostat? Also, since the radiator is running hotter, wouldnt this mean the temps of the car will go up cuz obviously the water is alot hotter now? I just wanted to know cuz im going to get a new cap since the old one is not holding pressure and keeps releasing coolant into the reservior too early and causing air to get into my cooling system. If it does help overall, i will get the nismo one since it raises pressure and i mean it can't hurt to have better cooling. Thanks alot.

You can buy the Z32 cap for less money, it's set at 18psi.

If you're confident in the cooling system, running a higher pressure cap should be fine, but continually check for hose end damage or swelling to make sure.

16psi. Best $4 I spent for the summer.

If you blow anything it's because the system had problems to begin with.

yep, running significantly more pressure than stock can cause leaks. The cooling system is designed to work under certain parameters. the Z32 cap is a good upgrade though. I love mine!

I have a Greddy 1.3 bar. That coupled with 50/50 coolant/water mix, lower temp thermostat, and water wetter, my car dropped a good amount in operating temp.
