Salvage Title (Body Damage) 1991 Nissan 240sx Hatchback with sr20det swap and tons of top brand name parts and tasteful modifications.

Approximately 205k miles Chassis, 90k miles Motor/Trans

Car runs but has an exhaust manifold leak. Car was driven on 1/11/16

The damage to the body occurred July 2015 when my car was backed into by a truck while my 240 was parked. The damage to the quarter panel will require rear over fenders to repair. Additionally the passenger quarter window needs to be replaced.

THIS IS THE ONLY DAMAGE FROM THE ACCIDENT AND THE ONLY FACTORS THAT LEAD TO THE CAR BEING DEAMED A TOTAL LOSS BY INSURANCE.

Its not a diamond by any means but it was my baby and I really tried to make it nice and run well and look pretty. I dunno man, shit takes up to 20 mins at most and that's if you don't know what you're doing. I've been through 8 240's and none of those dudes had a problem with me doing a compression test. Shit if he thinks I'm not qualified I'm even willing to take it to a shop and pay for it to be done.

I hear ya, and I agree, I just always try to look at it from another side. It's just like surgery: there could be a 99.9% chance of success but you could still get killed. Comp tests are easy to the right person, but you can always be at the wrong place at the wrong time when #3 just decides to strip itself and is ruined. Could have done everything right, but the car gods deemed it not so.

With the asking too many questions thing and paying a shop for a comp test, he's probably just burnt out with the YO MAD 240 DAGUMI messages and getting tired of selling or dealing with selling. Wouldn't take it personally (I usually do).

Honestly, I'd just keep hitting him up and show him pictures of cash or that your serious.

Nah, not even gonna bother unless he agrees then I'll buy it. I been had the money and was ready to pick it up the day I talked to him about it, but he still doesn't have the title. I mean I'm willing to travel to him which is a 3 hour ride one way, the least he can do is go to a shop with me for 20 minutes at most, not like he's paying for the test. The offer still stands for $4750 to anyone that wants to come, take a test drive, look at the car, jack it up and look at the frame. But theres no need for a compression test you can drive the damn car and here the problem its from the exhaust gasket or something, but I dont live at home and dont have time to fix it and need money for a practical car when I come home from college so I can start working. If anyone still needs an explanation, I study Engineering at University of Maryland and dont have time to go home and fuck with my car. I saved my money since I was 13 to buy this car and after I purchased it every penny I made got sucked up into the car one way or another. Now that i actually need money, the car has to go. It sits in my driveway since I came back to school in the fall and I just want it gone so I can move on with my life.
