Yeah I went through your post history too. I even caught the one where you said you were moving to Canada so you could buy an Evo, which makes your Evo comment incredibly ironic. Also saw you owned a civic. Everything you say seems par for the course.

Honestly, the car TriniTT is offering is not your every day coupe. Hardtop SE model with working HUD and all the upgrades that we all wish these cars came with from the factory. It essentially is a perfect starting platform. Seems like you both have your fair share of knowledge in these cars and maybe you can work something out despite rubbing each other the wrong way initially.

Personally, if I was in the market for a white coupe with HUD this would be the car I would go after. If $4,000 is your limit, maybe try to work something out between you two.
