My Goals and Needs have changed somewhat, Thus, I am really back to trying to make something happen and part ways with my S14R. I recently lost my Acura RSX Type S in an accident, so I need to trade/sell my 240sx for something a bit newer and simpler that i dont mind driving everyday. I LOVE driving my 240SX daily and have been recently, but obviously it's a shame to have it as a DD when it really deserves to be something MORE

Im interested in Civic Si's, BRZ/FRS, Acuras, Subarus, MazdaSpeeds, GTOs.. I'd entertain anything really... even a few 2 seaters..i.e. S2000s, 350Zs (HR only) etc... LITERALLY ANYTHING would be considered as long as it's an equivalent value.

I have a trade for a Civic SI Sedan that I am pretty excited about, but obviously anything will be considered until a deal is done!!.

The Car is pictured here on SSR Competition Type C - 17x8.5 +22 with 255/45/17s and Rear SSR Competition Type C - 17x9.5 +30 with 275/40/17 BF Goodrich tires... These will not be included in the sale, unless buyer makes a good offer for them and I choose to accept. The car will come with OEM S14 SE wheels and tires. Also pictured is the Nardi Gara D Sport Steering wheel. This will be switched out with a nice NRG piece prior to sale.

The car is Solid, and is a really great foundation for a life long car for the right enthusiast. That was my original plan. Its turn key reliable; I drive it everywhere anytime i want; the Custom FEAL coilovers have made it handle anything with ease yet still retain a FANTASTIC ride quality. Every link on the car is adjustable. I ultimately planned to replace the ISIS and Cusco pieces with VooDoo13 to match the rest, and to be able to use Standard thread heim replacements since Metric stuff is hard to come by and isnt available in quality examples like QA1 or RuffStuff or more.... VooDoo13 stuff is NICE.

The motor runs extremely strong; I typically keep the boost sitting around 12, with spikes to 13, and it is extremely quick. The S15 SR feels like it has so much more torque than my s13 had; this thing will really suck you back in your seat. I have the BOV recirculating at the moment which obviously greatly improves how the car feels when just driving around town or on the highway....

The interior is PERFECT. There are no cracks in the dash, I recently replaced both the Center HVAC trim and the Radio Bezel with Brand new OEM Nissan Pieces. The carpet is in good shape, the Seats are all in amazing shape. The interior really is as good as one could be at this age.

The car does need a few things. Mainly, Paint. It is painted in OEM Ultra Red, but age has had its toll on it; the hood and front bumper have spots of clear peeling and there are a few dings on the car with the worst being a small dent above the driver's rear wheel arch.
The fenders have all been rolled very cleanly. The car does have all of the OEM Nissan optional lips including the Rear Aprons and Side Skirts. The OEM Kouki Front lip has a crack in it on one corner from hitting a small animal once night, but is easily repairable.

Other than paint, the car could use a rear Subframe lockdown kit or new OEM rubber subframe bushings; with really sticky tires on the car one can hear and feel that they are just tired. The Ebrake Cables need adjustment to be just right and there is small power steering drip coming from an aged hose that just needs to be swapped out.

Its truly a great Kouki, and with paint and a few things here and there, will be a perfect car. It's had all of the important stuff done, and then some.

I really LOVE this car, and when i bought it, i was doing EXATCLY what i wanted. It's really a great car and a good all aorund build.

I'm just smitten with my little RSX Type-S, and now I'm craving a simple, screaming little S2000. Honestly, I really believe when i get one, I'm going to leave it stock to the extent that I would be able to run it in Stock Classes in Solo2 events.

Ill put my SSR's on it, have an electric cutout installed on the stock exhaust cleanly, put myself a pair of really good components and an 8" sub in it, and lastly, score me a hardtop and ill be golden... Get myself a good set of sticky tires for the OEM wheels and just AutoX the sh** out of it in stock classes . ...

I just hope my S-Chassis goes to someone who will continue the clean build and not turn it in to a drift whore....

my old S13 was equally as nice, and this was 2004ish (yea, i know, im an OG..lol) so the craze was just now hitting.... I had the owners of shop in Miami, FL drive all the way up to VA to buy my S13... and they sold motors and did swaps in their shop.... lol so i took that as a compliment... but sadly.. it was turned into a drift slut and dissappeared......

This S14: if i was keeping it, i had planned to Get a JDM Kouki Front Bumper, JDM Kouki Rear Spoiler and throw a fresh coat of OEM Ultra Red on it. I also planned to pull the motor again and paint the engine bay with Multi-Stage Ultra Red like the exterior, since Nissan, Subaru, and others always did the engine bays with just single stage paint....... Obviously, I was really close... LOL but my loss is someone elses gain!! this will be a great car for whoever buys it!!

This car, with fresh paint, etc... it'd be one of those cars you'd see online for sale for $25,000... and i wouldnt bat an eye

What a nice car you have. Does it have any engine management? Can I ask why are you selling it? It does have AC right? I am very interested in the car.

It does have AC.
It does not have aftermarket Engine Management. I typically run about 12-13, stock s15 is 11; I have ran it at 15-16 and it does so smoothly albeit a bit rich, but I always turn it back down for day to day driving in it. Ultiamtely, if it is kept, I will go with a full standalone; no piggy backs or secondary board (Nistune) stuff.... I want to have multiple maps, traction control, anti-lag, launch control, etc.... not just stock ecu manipulation ...

I really want a Honda S2000. I'd keep this and buy one if it was in the cards, but it is not. I DD an Acura RSX Type-S and I just love it; its a ton of fun! I believe an S2000 would be even more fun! Obviously, the S14 is TONS of fun too, but I just have an affinity for High-Revving NA motors... and I've never had a roadster :D

I also like 93-96 RX7's and 90-96 300ZX Twin Turbos... The FD3S is what originally spawned the though of selling my s14, then I got my RSX back on the road and remembered just how much fun it really is!

Hey Guys, Need to apologize, I've had a busted phone for a bit and haven't been keeping up with anything online too much.

I'm leaving the car listed, as I'm up for any good trades that come along. I had pondered a trade on a what appeared to be pretty flawless 03 350Z with around 60k on it.. but i just didn't feel like the deal was worth it, and to be frank, the owner of the Z basically pestered the hell out of me while i pondered the deal... even if i wanted the car i probably would have bailed due to the poor attitude... i had told him providing we could come to terms on some small details, i would be game; that the Z33 wasn't really what i was looking for, but if someone really wanted my car badly enough and i felt i could sell their trade offer for a similar amount to my car that i would do the deal......... but as it nickle and dimed down... it just wasnt worth it... the guy could do nothing but TELL ME how much i would love his car and how happy i would be with it without really listening to me when i told him "hey, i only want the car if this, this, this, this, etc.. and thats it".... Not to mention, the guy had NO TITLE in hand... and wasn't even going to request it until i said yes or no (while at the same time nagging me to hurry up and make a decision because other parties were interested).. and it was going to take up to 10 business days to receive the title.... .. by the end of our discussions.. he had tried to talk me down on my car, that he wanted very badly, while at the same time taking away from the car he wanted me to take in trade that he knew i wasn't all about....

IT was just a frustrating deal altogether so i told him no thanks.... and he proceeded to bitch and moan about paying to have the car detailed and having to get a title.... i guess he didn't intend on cleaning the car or legally transferring title to a new owner if it wasn't the deal with me????

Sorry for the Rant, but since he decided to somewhat chime in on my thread, i felt the need to explain what was mentioned... I have sold many parts on Zilvia, I'm also somewhat O.G. when it comes to the S-Chassis realm... I left for 10 years and returned.. I've been around a bit, People that know me know i take very good care of my Toys and they know that anything i sell will be as represented.... I take a good bit of pride in being someone that people are comfortable doing business with and I really like feeling the same way about those I deal with in car and part purchases.....

Anyway.. I'm working on a super secret suspension project, and will be needing my car, or a car, for demo work. Im open to trades; Yes, S2000 are very high on my list. As are Z32 Twin Turbos, R32's, IS300s, FS3S RX7 Twin Turbos, Supras, SC300s, M3s, Etc.....

I had previously received an offer on an HPDE prepped S2000 that i was pretty excited about, but it fell through. I like my car, A LOT. I dont have to part ways with it; but for the right offer, I would love too!!

Thank you. Plain and simple, I didn't like the Deal, and more so, I didn't like the Dealer...

EJEZ33 was the one mentioned in my previous post on the first page. He was the absolute worst person I have ever attempted to deal with; from the very beginning he was told multiple times, "hey, I'm not really interested in your Z, I mean I might enjoy it some, but it's not what I want.. BUT, since you seem to REALLY want my S14R, I would trade you if I thought I could sell your Z for the same money." In the end, I believed his Z was a bad gamble, it just wasn't worth it to me, and would be a bad financial move.... He also couldn't understand how busy a guy with a wife and two kids whom hustles around working in a garage, doing family pictures, cutting vinyl, making shirts, and moonlighting as an adventure outfitter with kayaks and such could be; not to mention one who had a broken phone for a long time. Yes, even in this day and age, some people aren't glued to their phones and he couldn't understand that. It was just awful. I've had people that have made me drive 7 hours each way and lied about every little detail on their car that I think back on more fondly than this dude....

ONE thing will sum up this guy...

He didn't possess the title for his car, he had lost it. He wouldn't even order one until he had a 100% deal, complaining about the cost of the replacement title. This would take 7-10 Business days... Once the deal was falling through, he had the nerve to complain about Ordering his title and having the car detailed stating that " I had tons of people That wanted my car and you made me miss out!"

Really??? You wouldn't have even been able to do the deal without a title. So now you're complaining that you ordered a title and had a car detailed that you intend to sell? I seriously considered the deal, despite my reservations and over the course of time he kept trying to beat the deal down and get more for less all while he couldn't even actually do anything.

Im very glad my car didn't end up in his hands..

When i open a thread i haven't checked in a few MONTHS and see something that warrants a response, a response is given. Such a good thing the new owner of your car is happy with his Z, I'm sure he doesn't overestimate the value of the car, but instead appreciates it for what it is ;)

If you had had an equitable trade, there wouldn't had been a need to mitigate loss on my end of the deal, but in fact, you didnt....

It's been Let go of for months, when you were told "NO" multiple times; however, you decided to chime in on thread about not being able to contact me instead of actually paying attention to what you were told. Thus, any natural reaction would included an explanation on the thread... It could have been left at that. Then, you decide to go on personal rants instead of just b$#%hing about the deal... Well, this just shows you how LITTLE you use Zilvia.... If you did use Zilvia, you would have a pretty good idea of what response would come next before you even hit the "Send" key. You probably would have known that literally Begging someone for a car wouldn't get you anywhere either...

And... feel free to contact the mods, I'm sure everyone needs a good laugh to start the day!

Now, gtfo here... your car is gone, and thus so is any connection between the two of us... That S14 Kouki you're still searching for isn't just going to fall in your lap ;)

Now, One Last Time, Back on track.

Have A serious Trade offer pending, but the car is still here at the moment.

I've been driving her daily and it's been doing great.
I recently replaced the Turbo Coolant Feed Line with a Braided Stainless Steel piece, replaced hardware throughout the exhaust, and did some fresh antifreeze, as well as some fresh Rear Diff Fluid.

Hey guys, if you have a trade offer, shoot me a PM or a text with some more details!! I have one I'm seriously considering right now that still has some time to play out, and is actually exactly the sort of car I'm looking for, however I'm still interested in seeing what's out there. I do need something with at least some degree of practicality unless the offer is just too awesome. I am hoping the current trade comes through, but if it doesn't, i will post up asap.

Right now, I am working on refinishing the Front Brake Calipers, and Will be doing a fresh oil change in the next few days also.
I went through the exhaust the other day and replaced a few gaskets and installed some new hardware.
I also dug out all of my spares that will be included with the car.
I even found a cooling plate that installs above the bumper to direct more air to the radiator!!

I'll do my best to keep the post updated with the status of the current trade offer and to return any PM's and Texts that I receive!! |
