What kind of seats do people like?
I do want reclinable however. But I understand they will be heavier. I just sat in my friends non reclinable seat and it looked good but Im telling you its not made for a woman if you wear skirts alot.

Sparco has some really awsome adjustable seats. Although the adjustable may be heaver than nonajustable, they will still be a lot lighter than stock, especailly if you had leather.

Sparco Milano (gotta love that lumbar adjustment!, Sparco Torino, Bride, Corbeau A4's, and most peoples' favorite seats, the Recaro SRD.

How about cross seats?

Id go with either Recaro or Corbeau. Sparco's cool but a lot of people have them now and the price is really high just cause of the name. Corbeaus Carrera Sport Recliner is the equivilant to SParcos Torino but is a little more beefed up when it comes to side bolstering. Id go with the Carrera sport if I had my 240 still, or maybe a Recaro. Brides cool but comes with a heavy price tag too.

Plus Brides are made for midgets or small people.

Ok boyz where are some sites I can look at these seats. Im more or less going for a cleaner look. I really like the reclinable blitz seats too! but when I called them they told me they wont have them for awhile:( and sparco I might want to stay away from just cuz like one of you mentioned its being seen more often. so what about rails? what are some good ones?

If it's a daily driver also I like the Corbeau Carrera's too. Does Momo have an adjustable seat?

Check out TakaKaira.com. Their prices seem really good for hard to get Japanese products (maybe cut cost through the importing method??).As far as rails, go with whoevers seats you buy.

my friend has a pair and not only do they make his car look sweeter, but they feel so good, they grab your ass like a sexy woman.....

if i had a nice amount of cash i'd ge them, but they are like 600 each right...

Yo they dont come with mounting or brackets right, so then how much and where the #### do you get them from?

I have sat in and really like the Tenzo R Rally Sport seat. They're a lot like the Sparco Torino seat, but are only $240 a piece at www.mmrusa.com

Corbeau Carrera's very nice (as r most Corbeau's), Tenzo Type-R is a close copy to Recaro SRD, also very nice. the Sparco's & Momo's in general r real nice, but higher $$.

so whenever I decide which seats I should go with should i technically go with the same seat rails? I think I like bride or cross.

I've heard that many of those company's. Sparco included, cone make side mount rails, and the rails they have will sit the seat too high. This is probably ok if you like 5'8" or less.

I read that Bride makes seat rails specifically for the 240/180 but you have to modify other seats to get them to work. Whatever you do check clearance. Maybe even get out you Measuring tape, and see how high you current seats are, then find out total hight from the company with seat rails. Then compare, and decide if you'll fit.

The suck thing is our cars have a bump directly under the seat that makes it hard to find mounts.

damnit sykik.. i just said the same thing...

but tell me more about the special ones made by bride... i'm interested... have u heard of any way to get our seats lower?.. i don't care about the price.. well,, i sorta do.. but i would be really interested.. i almost want to get rid of my car because of the headroom issue.. so if there is anyway.. i'd love you forever if you told me .. thanks man.

you could always bracket the seat down without rails to make it lower.... a friend of mine did that, although he sacrificed adjustability.

yah i like the sparco sprints.. (non-adjustable).. but i'm thinking bout bride.. where can i get them?

Ni5mo180SX
03-06-2002, 04:52 PM
Yea just use their brackets. Companies like Bride would have one for sure for the 240. I know Corbeau does too. Not too sure on Recaro though.

did he do it in a 240? did he document it?. .how hard is this to do... i'd sacrafice my left nut.... i don't care about adjustability.. i'm the only one that drives it..
