Ill have pictures in a day or two, the interior is not that great(its not THAT bad either..), however the exterior is really good, no rust really, just lil pebble chips in the paint here and there. One dime sized ding on one of the doors, Ill have to take a look at which in the morning. The car has 144,XXX miles on it if I remember correctly, however I put a new head on there about 6,000 miles ago. Transmission shifts nice. The car is white.

I just dont want to drive this car in the winter, and I cant afford to store her, so its time for it to find someone else to love her. Im asking $3550, give me a call at 847 530 3931, email me at [email protected], and AIM me at BEESEEYOUZEE

and once again Ill have pictures ASAP, thanks for looking.

blue book is 1900 dollars. Are you willing to come down?

bcuz
09-10-2004, 11:34 AM
I hope this doesnt come across the wrong way, but I would like you to find a 92 coupe with no rust, clean body, working HUD and digi spedometer for 1900. The blue book can be a good indicator of a cars value, it can also be WAY off. Espeacially for a car like this, I dont think 'Kelly' appreciates the fact that this is a light rwd car thats fun to drive and has a lot of potential. I promise you will not find a coupe in even decent condition for 1900.

bcuz

also Im not sre here you got 1900 from.. thats not what I got.. but whatever, if you are interested you cancome see the car, or wait for pictures, Ishould have them tonight..

Never been hit in the front as you can see, the radiator support bar has no signs of previous damage.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v137/jamesdavis/240sx/MVC-015S.jpg

car is wired for an amp and a sub, neither are included with car. And the radio probably is coming with me, unless Im happy with the price the car goes for. All wires are monster cable (top of the line stuff, over 100$ value)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v137/jamesdavis/240sx/MVC-011S.jpg

seats could be cleaner, they have some stairs and stuff, but there are no odors or anything.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v137/jamesdavis/240sx/MVC-007S.jpg

sadly the jerk who owned the car before me painted some of the interior panels white, I just never got around to going to the junk yard to find replacements.

1400 sounds more then resonable... Id only pay more because its white and you can never find a white coupe. I knwo what you mean about kbb and stuff and how a car is worth more since it cant be found. I lucked out and got a 1992 coupe with tein he coilovers on it 90k power everything for 2grand. SO 3500 is a bit high for this car.

slick, you got lucky, I dont know how else to put it, but you found somene that didnt really know what thier car was. Or just didnt care that much, but I cant give away my car. If you dont feel that 3500 is any where near reasonable, then please move onto the next forsale thread and just leave mine alone.

im not trying to be a prick or anything but ive got an 89 XE coupe with brand new working HUD and near perfect interior, decent exterior and a good motor with brand new clutch and oem exhaust that im trying to sell for 2000. dont go around promising people that they will never find a decent coupe for less than 3500. your price is too high, and thats the truth. anyway, good luck to you.

Still on crack...Taking advantage of a fad is rediculous, how about $1500. The car has 142,XXX miles on it.

bcuz
10-08-2004, 04:55 PM
taking advantage of a fad? its called supply and demand buddy, just cuz your pockets are shallow doesnt mean you have to come cry to me. I can sell it all day for 2800, but I know I can get more. The car is clean and you're damn right its popular.

And if you think s13 prices are inflated go find an ae86.. those things are atleast 3 years older then the oldest s13, most of rusted to hell, and they go for 2500$ and up, and the 2500$ one isnt going to be pretty.

If you dont want to buy it, thats fine, but I dont see why you think your opinion is important to me...

I just think coming on to an enthusiast board, expect to get some heat. I agree that the price is high, but hell if i could get that much for the car, i'd do it too. You might find a buyer on some of the local boards to a high school kid thats spending daddys money. Not a board with hardcore 240'ers...

bcuz
10-09-2004, 12:51 PM
its always worth a shot, its free advertising .. you know?

Im actually working on a possible trade or this guy that wants to give me 3100$, and those both are due to the adds on these boards...

Well, coming on an enthusiast board you should know that the ‘smart’ people on the board are going to know what the cars are worth. Seeing ridiculous prices like that is just funny. My pockets are not shallow, I am only looking for a shell to build from that, and the fucking 240’s that don’t run or have a bad transmission are going for $1000.00 in some places.

First of all I wasn’t crying to you, waste of my time. Simply stating something and you took it personally, showing that my opinion had and effect on you……

I got my 92 coupe for $1000 with a rod knock. It was completely rust free with 102,xxx miles. Take into account all of the spare KA's people are selling on the boards and I would have had a running 92 coupe with 102,xxx chassis miles for under $1800. And a 92 is the newest coupe you can find.
A kid right down the street from me has a white coupe, same mileage, 92, rust free also, great running, bought for $2100 a year ago.
There is a green coupe on the boards for sale, also rust free from texas, with 54,xxx miles! going for $3500. The same price that you're asking, but with almost 100,000 less miles than you. I know you're trying to sell when stock is high, but be realistic. You're never going to sell the thing if you keep the attitude that you have.
My opinion: If I were looking for a white coupe, and I just had to have white, no other color, then I might conisder your car for no more than $2000. It is in good condition, I will give you that for sure, but again, be realistic.

whatever.. the funny things is I can get 2800 any time I want, but I keep turning it down. Its nice that you guys are so sure of all this, but I have had plenty of offers for around 2800, and Im working some stuff out with 2 potential buyers that I know have cash and arent jerking me around. So if you are either just trying to be helpful or you are trying to have me lower my price so you can buy, just relax, cuz Im going to sell the car and Im going to get what I want...

i dunno why you all need to put your ".02 cents" in. i have basically the same car as this guy, except mine is red, and if i were to sell it, it wouldn't be for less than 2500. let him ask as much as he wants, if someone wants to pay it, then more power to the seller.

^ wow bcuz i feel for you man

how can you guys offer 1500 for such a clean car?

Oh "it has 100,00 miles + on it!" so what? what's your point? has mileage ever cross the mind of someone who is looking to buy a project s13? yea thats what i thought. Hell when i am looking for a project s13 i look for a straight clean body/chasis, non smelly interior, and working electricals.

you can't believe that this guy is taking advantage of the 240 hype to raise his price Just a little cause he can? grow up, if you really think its unfair or not right then go home and never live in the real world ever again. Supply and demand is prevelent everywhere hachi's are a very good example of this. Also honda eg and ek hatchs are as well.

it just seems to me that these guys are just angry and bitchin cause they really can't afford 3 g's : /

lol and the guy who is sellin an 89 xe is ridiculous i don't care if you have a clean interior, that is easy to fix, the exterior and body is what is most important, oh nice you have a good motor good for you.

a completely clean straight 240 is hard to find

i can't stand some people and their cheapnesssssssssssssssss

bump for a clean 240 3g's is a decent price

MasterofDrift, I really appreciate your post. I got about 3 hours of sleep last night, and I have been at work for 8 hours and have another one to go. I have a horrible hang over and all together this day has been really shitty. You just changed all of that I think I smiled for the first time today..

Its just so nice to know that SOME people have a little bit of sense..

The car is not in mint condition, but the things that matter are all good, straight chassis, clean body, and the electrical stuff is all good. If you want a daily driver to college maybe this car isnt for you? but for anyone looking to put some money into an s13 this is a good one. I mean, shells with rust are going for 800+. If you dont like the way my car or other s13's are priced, then start a new trend, find the next gem of drifting, you can get in on a deal before everyone else makes the price go up. Otherwise stop crying and grow up.

it just doesnt make sense, WHY DO YOU CARE, DONT BUY THE CAR IF YOU ARE TOO CHEAP. I am flexible the price has dropped quite a bit and Im still flexible, dont cry about the price being too high when you havnet even tried to make a reasonable offer (or you dont want to because you arent even looking to buy adamn car.)

i think the only reason he can sell this car for that much is cuz he's from chicago.. a 240 in the midwest is basically rusted after the first winter.. it took me months almost a year to find one without any and was fairly clean... play on player...
