Ok, here is my dilemma. I have been presented with the oppurtunity to purchase a used set of Kei Office TDII's for my 89 240 for a ridicuously low price of $800-$900 canadian. They are basically brand new with no scratches or leaks at all. I know your all asking right now, "So what's the issue??". Well, this car will be a daily driver for 6-7 months out of the year with occasional drifting (maybe 1-2 times a month if that). So are these a good choice for a street suspension or are they gonna knock my teeth out due to being too stiff? The springs are 8/7. I am basically ready to buy these but would like some input first. I really don't want to spend a whole lot more than that. I was looking at the d2's but can only find them for $12-1300 us. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

they might be a little too stiff but its all personal preferance, i personally perfer the 8/6 set up even for daily, i would say go for it, if you dont like it you can sell it to me :) (seriously) and if not im sure you can get what you paid for, if not more

too stiff? aren't the shocks adjustable?

I have kei office xt-a's with 9/8 spring rates. They are set with no preload and on setting #2 (out of 16) they ride a tad stiffer then my former tokico blues/eibach sportlines setup but if I set them on 8-9 they get really stiff. That's still with no preload which, if added, would make the shocks stiff enough to crack the chassis over time if driven on streets long enough
