Cutting out front fender arches (not tubs)

As low as my car is, I'm experiencing major tire rubbing on the top and backside of my front wheel wells under compression while drifting. I've already tubbed the front so there are no clearance issues there, but I'm about to just cut about an inch out from the top and rear and weld some plate in there.

If anyone has any pictures of them doing this I'd like to see. I've already got a plan for what it'll entail, but if anyone has some input I wouldn't mind hearing/seeing it.

Go look in the tubs thread, there are a few instances of this in that thread. Anyways my suggestion to solve this is raise the car up a little.

Comic is talking about the fender well between the firewall and the strut tower, your pictures don't address that.

Parts Shop Max coils, pretty near maxed out low.
18x9.5 +11, 215/40 Federals
LCA's extended 40mm
-8* camber and 8* caster

Normal tubs and stuff, Id love to do a tub setup like the above post.
