Hey guys.
I've made a couple grounding kits for my friends and I and thought I'd share with the rest of you if there's anybody that's interested.
The cables are made from Knukonceptz cables, some of the best in the industry, with copper ring connectors and Raychem heat shrink tubing.
Also uses Knukonceptz Bassik negative battery terminal connectors.
I had everything measured and tested to fitted KA-E, KA-DE, SR's, and CA's.
These are bolt-on OE replacement ground cables so don't need to drill any holes, just replace the old stock cables.
Can also do custom kits upon request.
Some of us run drift and time-attack events with these and have held up pretty good, no issues. Ran multiple electrical tests with resistance and had good readings throughout engine and chassis.
Selling these kits for $40 shipped. Coupon code: zilviaspecial
Kits can be purchased here: http://www.socalschassis.com/product/grounding-kit/
Comment below if you're interested, for reviews, custom setups, or just general questions.
Also have matching positive terminals +$10.

The OEM positive connection needs to be drilled out 1 size larger to bolt directly to the side of the positive terminal, which I haven't done yet. Currently I have to connected with an L shape copper bracket I made, bottom picture. Will post another picture when I drill it out a little bigger. I have a couple people that completely took off the OEM connector and crimped new ring connectors, which you can do also.

Thanks! The installed pics are actually my prototype stuff. Actual kit looks cleaner and depends on how much care the person installing them takes.
This kit fits both s13 and s14. Tested on both chassis's on the street and on the track (time attack & drifting).

I've been using dkim's full grounding kit (from battery to chassis and from chassis to intake manifold) with the terminal connector for about 8 months now.. It's been working rock solid ever since and I've been having better cold starts compared to the generic garbage they sell at auto-parts stores made of recycled coat-hangers (their cables are STIFF as heck and terrible). A great way to replace an old 22+ year old factory grounding cable or a ghetto generic auto-parts store version. Either way, it's a solid product and each one is made by hand with great attention to detail.

Thank you bladetech8! Good to hear things are still going good!
Always trying to improve the kit and what I can do to make it better. I think since 8 months, I've upgraded the cables to Oxygen Free Copper(OFC) cables still by KnuKonceptz and using Raychem heatshrink, some of best in the industry with copper ring terminals.
Currently, I've yet to come across better quality pieces that I can upgrade to without over-doing specs/cost.

I have to agree with this I just purchased this kit and its working wonders! I got the positive / negative kit. I had some ghetto wires that would ground my car out but with these new ones cold starts have improved and the quality of the product is very nice.. You can feel the authenticity with this product. I would definitely recommend these for anyone's next build !

i've thought about this but will take some more time to figure out the details.
was there anything specific you were interested in?
my grounding kit should work with a relocated battery as long as you have a chassis ground near the battery. positive line would take customizing but if you need specific lengths of the ground cables, i can make them according to your measurements.

^^^I had it relocated to the trunk a while back and my battery kept getting drained. I moved it back to the front and that problem went away. I would really like to keep it in the trunk but I fear the problem would come about again. I had some one else install it but I guess it was jimmy rigged which was no good. I was going to buy a moroso b.relocation kit. But I like the cables/wires your using better.

Honestly, I've spent hoursss researching various cables and electrical and audio companies and these cables are some of the best in the industry. Going to be hard to find something better.
I can definitely make you custom grounds, you'll just need to send me pictures and take measurements of the cables you want. I can also get you a new positive cable, which seems like you'll need if your battery keeps draining. But I'll need to see how your positive cable is currently setup and where it's connected to on your harness.
I did this recently for my friends SR. He relocated his battery behind the passenger seat.

It's nice to hear that a small project you started for your friends is actually helping and benefiting a lot of other people nationwide.
Back story;
These grounding kits actually started out because I noticed my grounds were looking bad and looking at my friend's grounds, they were having similar issues. I felt that the OEM grounds could be upgraded and perform better with better protection. So as a Christmas present to my friends, I decided to create custom grounds for them.
I started doing some research on electrical components and cables, consulting with various companies(automotive, audio, electrical, etc). Spent hours upon hours of researching and finding the best combination of parts to put together that'll last in various scenarios(street to performance). Given the time and resources I had, I came up with this kit and was able to get it to my friends. We were able to run various tests to make sure everything worked properly and even had a few chances to test out on the local race tracks with good results.
After finalizing everything and being happy with how everything worked out and ready to move on...various people started noticing the grounding kits and were asking for their own sets as well. And now, after so many requests, I decided to make them for public orders since I already spent the time and research to make them fit for s-chassis's.
If anybody has any questions or custom orders for special sizes and lengths, feel free to reply here or pm me directly!

Some info on quality of this kit
- Cables are oversized, top of the line, Oxygen Free Copper(OFC) cables
- Super flexible cables! Not like you typical stiff OEM cables. Easy to route.
- Uses Raychem heatshrink tubing. One of the best in the industry. great protection from high heat and many forms of liquids.
- Copper ring terminals with fitted ring sizes to match OEM bolt/mounting points.
- Red positive cables available upon special orders.
- Customization available! If you need a custom kit made for your unique setup, just send your required specs and we'll figure it out together!

After purchasing this kit a while back for my S14 I finally got around to having it installed. It was successful and works great! The only thing is that I was unable to use the positive terminal and cable because of the additional factory connectors that feed off of the same cable that the S13 doesn't seem to have. Anyway, I recommend this grounding kit for a straight forward and clean setup!

The positive terminal does take some modifying the stock harness to make it work. You have to cut off the oem battery connector and crimp the ring terminal connector that I include with the positive battery connector. As for the additional factory connectors that usually mount to the side, you have a couple options you can take..
a) cut off the oem connectors and wire them directly with the main line and then crimp to the supplied ring terminal. or..
b) take the side factory connector adapter, drill the mounting hole 1 size larger, then just mount directly to the side of the new positive terminal connector. (that's what i did)
I've heard from another customer that did option b, they didn't have to drill the hole larger. the side bolt on the new positive terminal connector fit perfectly through the factory connector adapter. I guess Nissan made different sizes..
I did option b, will upload a better picture later.
I also use the covers the battery terminal connectors come with because that's a requirement on the track.

To replace the negative grounds? No. Simply remove the factory grounds and bolt this kit in place.
To use the matching positive battery terminal connector, yes. the OEM factory harness has a built-in battery terminal connector which will need to be cut off and you will need to crimp on a copper ring terminal that is supplied with the new positive terminal connector.
And if you notice, there's a couple lines that also connect to the positive terminal where the factory harness uses an adapter with connectors. And as stated in my previous post, you have a couple options...
a) cut off the oem connectors and wire them directly with the main line and then crimp to the supplied ring terminal. or..
b) take the side factory connector adapter, drill the mounting hole 1 size larger, then just mount directly to the side of the new positive terminal connector.
This is the same for s13 and s14, and all factory unmodified harnesses on KA, SR's, CA, and RB's.
Ordered one of the kits and got it installed last night. Easy install on a SOHC. Cleaned up all the mounting spots and attached the wires. All of the rings were the correct size. I ordered the matching positive terminal also, just cut the old connector off, crimped the new one on, and then drilled out the accessory connector so the new mounting bolt would fit. Clean set up, easy install. Pictures attached. Thank you.

I just received the Engine and Trans cables and I can speak to the quality:
Wires are KnuKonceptz which have a 4.5 rating on Amazon with over 800 reviews.
Have a little extra length which is perfect for engine movement. Even though I'm running Drift Freaq mounts and my motor doesn't move at all lol
Have a light translucent black shielding that makes it a perfect dress up piece, better then the crappy stock ground cables.
Cheaper than any quality grounding cables you'll get off Amazon or your local store. Unless your looking to make 25 ft of these things which I was not. I already have enough extra of everything.
Ends appear to be crimped and covered in heat shrink. Terminals appear to be quality also as I can't find the standard made in china markers you get on autozone crap.
Also the terminals are perfectly sized for mounting. No generic 1 size fits all stuff you get online.
A true tailored product.

Been a little M.I.A. from this post but to give a quick update..
Still producing these grounding kits!
Lately, starting to look into creating a custom Battery Relocation Kit with a partner company who are starting to sell quality lightweight batteries.
It's looking like this kit may be a complete kit with battery, battery case/holder, connectors, cables(positive and negative).
It's been a little difficult coming up with a standard Battery Relocation Kit due to different size batteries, mounting location, and cable lengths.
Would love to hear your guy's thoughts and suggestions that you'd like to see!
