Anyone using the D1-Spec versions on their S14? The fronts on mine go low more than enough, but the rears that are seemingly maxed out at about 1/4 inch of empty space left in the ride height gauge, and the lower mount doesn't want to spin anymore. It doesn't seem to go that low at all compared to how low the fronts can go..

I'm on 235/40/18 on the rear with about an inch and a half gap from slightly pulled fender to rim.

Just curious how low you guys were able to get it.

Had the same issue when I ran them, sold them and picked up some Super Down Low Fortune Auto coils to fix the problem. Good luck.

Why does your car need to be that low? It looks dumb.

Thanks for the input. I'm actually coming from some unknown Fortune Auto coilovers but the fronts were going bad. Thinking of just switching the rears back out for the old ones. These D-max ride nice though!

Because I like the way it looks. Thanks for your opinion though.

I have the D-Max Super Streets but they are built the same way. The inner thread stops right where you are describing. That's as low as they go.

But here's a pic of them installed. This is about 1-1.5" above max low on standard preload.

Make sure they're preloaded correctly all around.

^maxed out? I haven't adjusted the preload assuming it comes with zero, but this gives me some hope... I'll have to check it tonight

Maxxed out with a tiny bit of spring droop.
