Surprised this hasn't been discussed yet. Is this going to be a new trend if it's not already? Curious to see what numbers that powerplant puts out.

Its fucking cool as hell but I cant imagine it was cheap or easy to get the 300-350 HP they claim. Call me when I can accomplish this for ~$1000 more then a turbo RB and it might be worth the cool points.

well ill tell you if your doing a RB25 or 26 variant NA its useless and RB30 blocks arent readily available in the us so expect to pay alot of money to get them shipped here, lastly internals for the RB30 stroker kits, pistons, rods are not off the shelf parts so to make about 330whp expect to pay as much as you would for a 600hp turbo 26 build maybe even more so in reality if you have tons of money to waste be my guest, but its not worth it all together. Anyone else wanna chime in?

I'm pretty sure its an Autech rb26, those made about 217hp stock. So with proper tuning it could probably get around 300hp.

I think there's much better ways to spend all that money. don't get me wrong it's an interesting build but for any other reason than having it in a show car I think it's not enough bang for your buck to be worth it in a car that you actually drive.

i doubt without a 3.0l bottom end your making 300hp on a NA RB stock bottom unless your using race gas, headwork with some crazy cams etc.

Pretty sure they did that just because they can. Of course from a $$/HP standpoint its in no way practical.

Higher comp pistons + substantial headwork I'm sure. What's the stock redline on RB's?

Its something different, cool, and has people talking about it! I think its awesome. Power wise it would be higher with a turbo but its clean and simple the way it is, not everyone is trying to go as fast as possible in every car they own. I would imagine it puts down around 260whp

Honestly i heard that OS Giken offered to give fuguz the TC head/L3.1 setup but only catch would of been not to use the RB kit...... L series with that OS head would of made more power, rev'd alot higher, weighed less, and would of been way cooler OS posted a vid and that L series made 400ps at above 9k pretty stout.

sung kang's "BUILT" RB26 engine only put down like 225whp

It is not even different, NA RBs end up in S30s all the time. Mostly they are RB25s but its not uncommon to see the 26 used instead.
