Does having a quick release require a hub or is the quick release like a hub?

KasperSlide- its all personal preference. if your knees always hits the steering wheel then you may want like a 320mm ? go to like kragen or autozone and try out the Grant steering wheels.

A better solution is to space the wheel closer to the driver.

You should bid on it. This wheel has like a negative 50mm offset..

or both :) kevi kev I need a spacer something awful mang! theres barely room for my fingers between the back of my classico and the light switch stalk thingy :) I like my Classico. I need to get a quick release and see if that will space it far enough to my liking.. then see if I want a spacer still

Id put spacers on whatever, and drop the steering column via longer bolts and washers.. I think it would be butter if you have a low sitting seat..
Forget the Nardi, you can rock this... at like 1/124 the cost... heheh http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33704&item=7920933811&rd=1

A smaller steering wheel diameter requires less effort to turn dumbass

why would you want to turn the wheel more though in a situation where control is an issue i.e. countersteering in a drift? thats retarded

MOMO is my wheel of choice.
Got the Millenium, Top Power, and now deciding which one to put on the project car.
BTW eBay has Momo's for under 50bux.
Also 22mm spacers *for those of u that are looking* are about 22bux there

a smaller steering wheel would require more effort with turning but there would be less movement of your hands, its called leverage.

And you're calling him the dumbass? Smaller wheel requires MORE effort.
Case in point, my old Datsun 210 had no power steering, came with a big 16" wheel, easy to drive in parking lots. Put a Grant GT 13" wheel on it, couldn't turn the wheel at all unless the car was rolling.

not really... think about it.. smaller wheell you have to turn the wheel more times. length wise the movement would be less but you still have to turn it more times.

I LIKE THE OMP DEEP DISH ONE (forgot the name)
and the NARDI CORN

Huh? In terms of "turns" (degrees of rotation) your steering wheel diameter changes nothing.
Anyways, i plan on getting the Sparco Chrono or monza wheel. I need that extra dish and Nardi Rally wheels are hard as hell to find.

It's a 345mm deep dish. -50mm offset (I think) plus a 50mm spacer and a 50mm NRG quick release.

Unfortunetly you are wrong...No matter what the size 13" or 20" diameter steering wheel if it took two rotations for the steering wheel to lock with a 20" wheel it will take two rotations for the wheel to lock with a 13" steering wheel. The turning force however will be more with the 13" wheel compared to the 20" wheel!
okay I think the horse is truely dead now!

my ricer friend thought the same thing about steering wheels and turning more or less times.
i have no idea how people can come up with such ridiculous ideas.
