I read through your build thread before I picked up my UCF20. You basically pushed me to get the car.

Wow, I'm flattered man thank you! These really are phenomenal cars, everyone should own one. Hope you get to enjoy yours as much as I have mine, whether its rolling on 20's and bags on the highway, or sliding sideways lifting the front inside wheel!

This thing is so awesome. I'm not sure if you've seen The Smoking Tire's Million Mile Lexus, but yours looks way more fun.

Did you get the misfire sorted out? How did you get rid of the weight (or did you?)?

Misfire was a bad MAF. Weight reduction was done by a combination of things, mostly removing all the shit I no longer needed. Trunk is gutted, Recaro's are lighter than stock, 3" single exhaust is lighter than the dual. ABS/TRAC system dropped 60 lbs or so. Stock Auto trans was almost 100 lbs on the dot heavier than the 5spd. All in All car is 3420 :2f2f:.

Few things to note as "Bad" on this car:

The mainshaft bearing in the trans on the car is howling. It needs to be replaced, or you could just clutch kick the **** out of it until it explodes. A second spare good trans is included in this sale. Swapping them out will take a competent mechanic no more than 3 hours. (Extra S13 5spd is included with the sale price)

The rear diff was welded unevenly. The guy who did it clearly didn't know how to weld both sides evenly so it shakes on the highway a bit. You could take it off and even it out, or replace it with one welded by someone who has done them before.

Secondary o2 on passenger side broke off. Bung is fine, but the physical sensor broke in half. OBD1, so yolo.

Had a tire blow out during an event in spectacular fashion, so the metal chord in the tire left tiny scratches in the clear coat on the rear quarter. Most will buff out, but at the end of the day its a purpose built drift car. Yolo applies here also.

Read through your entire build thread, sadly the photos didn't load for me at home :keke:

Since making the post did you ever get to fixing any of these 'issues'? Are there any better photos of the damage caused by the tire? Looks like the one in this thread is prior to getting the rubber off the quarter. I didn't see if you publicized your final decision on spring rates for the coils; what did you go with? Where in CT are you?
