VIN# GX71-6246801
Title status- Clear federal legal Texas title.
Mileage- 134kms and counting (its driven daily)
Engine 1G-GTE, twin turbo with water to air intercooler (oem)
Body class -4 Door hard top sedan
Transmission - Automatic with power and economy settings.
Brakes- 4 wheel discs (oem)
Diff- G-code 8" non LSD
Price- $7000 obo
The car is based on the same year Cressida that is available in the US, suspension, brakes, electrical and most interior parts are the same. The body is different, as is the rear and front lights. The car is referred to as the "hard top" as there are no door window frames but there is a B pillar so its not a true hard top. The car was imported early last year and was not used daily until a few months ago, so the mileage will go up.
The body is in Good shape with a few small dents and the front right fender has a small crease on the front section of the wheel arch profile, there is very little rust visible except for some surface rust on the undercarriage area. The paint is OEM and will benefit from a clay bar and polish.
All lights, wipers, horn etc function as normal, Interior is in pretty decent shape, the dash has a few spots that are sun damaged and the foam pad is distorted where the secondary radio controls are located. The seats are in great shape, no damage, rips, burns etc. The carpet is good as well, the interior will benefit from a professional detailers' touch. The car is 95% OEM, the exception being the 16" SSR XR4Z wheels, aftermarket steering wheel and new double din Sony stereo head unit (installed after the pics were taken)
The engine and transmission function fine, with the basic maintenance being done recently....new plugs, water pump, radiator and timing belt was done. The Rad was replaced due to being old and not instilling confidence for a long trip, water pump bearing started make noise so it was replaced as was the timing belt. Tranny shifts are firm and by using the power selection somewhat fun :)...The wheels are not perfect and it will need tires soon. The engine is running 7psi (stock), turbos spool great, no knocks and i don't see any leaks on the ground but valve cover gasket shows some weepage. The car runs great considering its auto, its silky smooth and still handles the corners with pride, brakes are definitely up to the task of hauling this car down from higher speeds.
The a/c compressor does not activate and i suspect it needs to be retrofitted and charged with r134 to function, i have not checked for reasons for it not to turn on but blower and vent selector functions fine. The seats are very comfortable and surprisingly supportive for longer drives as its been on a 4 hour and a few 2+ hour drives.
The reason for selling - i have quite a few vehicles and i'm limiting my collection to Nissan and Chevy.
Please feel free to PM any question regarding the car or request any more pictures or information. Thanks for reading the ad
