Does this kit seem like a good candidate for a daily driver KA24DET? In general, is it a good deal for what's included?

I don't know what condition the turbo is in, I wouldn't pay more than 500 for it. Plus what kind of ecu tune? You should just build your own turbo setup.

I see a junk turbo, mystery computer, undersized injectors and an intercooler than won't work. I would stay away.

Ka-t.org has every answer to the questions you don't even know to ask yet.
Just click the link and read. And Rear. And Read.
Once you think you've read it all, re read it again.
Read the intro threads that give you a basic idea. Read into how to rebuild a Ka completely. There is one thread that goes into extreme detail and you should find it. Read into wiring up aftermarket ECUs and other sensors.
You will need to make several speadsheets.
You have like 5 months of homework ahead of you, if you attend school or work 40 hours a week.

Shit like this just baffles me. At 16 years old I was able to figure out ever single part for exactly the horsepower ka i needed and didn't need to make a single thread....All the info has been readily available for everything you need for over 5 years....
