Sup ppl, so i did a 5 speed swap in my 93. Used a R1 chromoly flywheel, and a eCLUTCHMASTER 6 puck. Both are new drove cool for the first 600miles. Now 2kmiles later i got a welded diff and when i kick the clutch it wont grip! Besides that she feels good. I can skid in 1st gear but in second or what ever it wont. If i speed shift it grips. Never had a problem till now. What can it be??

so you're saying when you clutch kick, the clutch disk is just slipping?

your "skid" in first gear. does 2 wheels lay rubber?

did you break the clutch in? break it in, or break it in less than 5000 miles.

Wait is this serious? Obviously your cheap ass clutch is slipping like the piece of shit it is. Unbelievable.

You're probably not kicking hard enough. You REALLY have to give it. Make sure your RPM is really high too. Go out and try a few more times.

do you have an ls1? if not, obviously that's what you need. then you won't even have to clutch kick. if you do have an ls though, it might help if you stick a fish in your butt.

You sure your clutch line isn't leaking? My subaru had the same thing happen. I just rebled the system with Gallo 24 and I was out there killin tires 'Murica

I mean what do you expect when you pay 80.00 for a clutch? You should be impressed it seems to do everything but this and go pray to the ebay gods that it doesn't shit on you the next time you mis shift. I'd recommend you sell the car before hand though so someone else can save it as you're going down a very bad path.

Probably not ripping the e-brake. First you rip the e-brake, then I want you to power over. Feel at one with the car, let the car feel you.

I second the gallo 24 post. Also, when I was trying to do the kicks my first time, I remembered I was left footed so I had to rewire my pedals for my left foot in my s13

someone needs to send obee's posts to Doug demuro to let him know he owes obee a lot of money for trademark infringement.

did you break the clutch in? break it in, or break it in less than 5000 miles.I know nothing about this 'eCLUTCHMASTER' deal. But ACT 6 puck clutches have 'do a couple of hard launches' as break-in procedure. Sounds like OP nailed it.

If someone sends me his address I will go fight him.
Only one will walk away. There is only one My SKyline™.
Doug De-Idiot.
See what I did there? I made his last name into an insult.
He stands no chance.

mY BUDDY Jaceon lives by you. He had a similar issue until he used the Gallo 24. Now he's all good. We had our friend Calvin come over and help tighten everything else up. Now we can drive straight outta compton with ease...or drift out...whichever.

the vtec gear is broken in the diff and not making connection with the main gear. You will need to over night the part from Japan...
