buddy rented out roabling road for the day. asked me to come down and play.

it was nice to have open track from 9am to 5pm. with only 5 cars participating. all 3 times i was on the track i was the only car out there. 240 did good. has a little bit more corner entry speed than i had originaly thought.

blew a modded Z06 with R compound tires on doors off. heres some pics.

wow, thats Roebling Road... ive run there quite a few times. what kind of times are you running? on RS03's, i ran low 30's, high 20's. thats pretty decent for now, ill be going back in 3 weeks for another track day though. i like the scales as well! not the most accurate, but still nice to have none the less. 2,600 lbs with a full tank of gas!!

my best times was a 1:26.5 on dunlops up front and wallmart tires on the back (there sumutumo nock offs) made in koria or something, the track was real slow. the porsche was only running 1:17s with a Pro driver. where as the fastest time around that track in a car just like that is a 1:12.9 done last winter. (the cold weather helps out a ton)

im going again on the 24th of September with a group called Seat Time. their site is pretty easy to remember, www.seat-time.com! :) its pretty cheap for a track day too. i got in 6 20-30 minute sessions easy. i actually left early b/c i didnt wanna push my luck with the car. i had to drive home the same day. its a blast, you outta come out with us...

I'll be there on the 18th and 19th with the General Li for Chin motorsports drivers ed, thats prolly what he is talking about. How'd the car do? Brakes, handling ok? No cooling issues? Man I am so glad the person who bought my car actually uses it for what it was built for.

i really want to go to some track days sometime soon. im only 2 hours from sebring and 3 1/2 from moroso. i'd like to make it up into some of the tracks in georgia too. im just scared of stuff breaking on my car and its a lot of money even if it stays together. being a poor college student isnt the best. we should definitely all try and get together for a track day sometime.

i dindt run it to hard for lap after lap. ide just run a quik lap then run a tire spinning lap then bring it in. the temps would go up a little but you can never tell whats going on with that stock gauge. handing was good. it has more corner entry speed than i had thougt. balance is good. little understeer when first applying throttle coming out of the apex. but i got the whole car corner balnced and everything, caster, toe, camber, done today at my buddys shop (the dood with the porsche). accualy had toe out on one side and toe in on the other in the rear wich i could feel while driving, kinda weird feeling. but now its all good. im ready to put some better rubber on the rear and do a better time. we have our own "street car challange" at that track. so far we have a evo. 240sx. carrera 4s. and E46 M3 either drivin by me or my buddy. the times are all wihtin a second of each other.

actuallly, nopi is the weekend before... the seat time event is the friday AFTER nopi. i wont be in town though, im going up to chicago to move my g/f down to tennesee for school, but i will be there for the seat time event...

nothign really special. 2 older 911s that were track prepped. a Z06, miata both track prepped.

all the guys were impressed with the 240. they were like woah 390 hp, 2700 pounds. they liked it.
