Anyone on here ever run braided fuel lines opposed to the OEM hardlines? Going to be bumping my tune to 500rwhp and dropping in a Bosch 044 and would rather not cut any corners if it means better flow. Lines would be ran up the passenger side and over to the drives side to land themselves in the fuel rail. If i'm wrong tell me to keep the stock hard lines and save myself the work

Cost is the only concern...the Hard lines are ok but they can crack...

Main concern is how much they will flow.. They look alot smaller than - 6 AN lines

What about Hicas lines, I think these are larger than fuel lines and are already there nicely mounted.

Car is non hicas unfortunately. Only other thing is the fuel carbon canister lines that with the feed and return, which look about the same size.
I guess the better question is if anyone is making around 600rwhp on stock fuel lines under the chassis

This is just my opinion, but if you are going to up to bosch 044 then you might as well go with new hoses. The only thing you have to consider is how are you going to get the fuel from the tank to the bosch. I sumped my tank instead of going with a fuel cell or a swirl pot. Either way it is going to be expensive but if you want to make big power then you have to do it. So make sure you do your research. Here is a picture of my current set up.

Can I not drop the 044 in place of the oem pump with a little bit of custom fabricating and have it pump as it should?

If you are gonna do that then I would look to do a dual walboro 255, a single aeromotive 340 stealth, or a walboro 400lph pump type setup. This way you would only have to slightly modify the hanger to run the dual walboro set up and not have to modify the fuel top hat to run AN lines and fittings. A lot of the evo guys are having great success with the dual walboro set up on pump gas and making 600+ whp on stock fuel lines.

Running the hoses is fairly easy, it's just keeping the hoses from being destroyed from debris is were you should get creative.
